Vintage Framed Lady and Unicorn Tapestry
Wow! This piece is absolutely breathtaking. It looks to be someone's own take on the French unicorn tapestry masterpieces. The original tapestries were made in Paris around the year 1500 and are considered some of the greatest examples of surviving medieval art. The background of this piece features a millefleur (thousand flowers) design and enchanting creatures. The lady has a beautiful gown on and some of the flowers are stitched in glittery thread, she is gesturing to the unicorn who is rearing up towards her.
